KJ-915 Silicone-based Tooling Rubber is an uncured silicone rubber used for the fabrication of pressure equalization boards, flexible core rods, and rubber tooling. In the autoclave curing process, KJ-915 pressure-enhancing pads offer uniform pressure distribution and can withstand high-temperature process requirements up to 232°C (short-term up to 260°C). When used with tooling prepreg materials, KJ-915 ensures dimensional stability, secures adhesion of the prepreg, and avoids the production of volatiles that could cause delamination.
